We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Sosionom to join the Vantaa education and learning division at Ylästön Daycare. The role involves multidisciplinary teamwork in planning, implementing, and evaluating pedagogical activities, alongside other professionals. You will be responsible for parental collaboration and fostering a sense of community and inclusion with guardians and other child-care actors. You will help develop services and new practices to support the wellbeing and inclusion of children and families, and you will oversee child well-being and guidance for children, families, and guardians. The position is located at Ylästön Daycare, a six-group facility near Ylästö School, surrounded by nearby playgrounds and river valley nature. You will work in a 2–4-year-old group with a preschool teacher and a childminder. We emphasize peer relationships and emotional skills, child participation, and a calm, responsive approach to every child. The unit uses ProVaka as a framework to support social skills, and you will operate within this model with the rest of the staff.
