We are looking for a waiter/waitress for a restaurant located in the centre of Turku. We are seeking a cheerful, customer-service oriented person to join the team of a restaurant in Turku city centre. If you enjoy customer contact, thrive in a fast-paced work environment, and want to develop in the restaurant field, this position could be right for you. The job of a waiter/waitress is diverse and varied. Your duties include: friendly service to customers and taking orders, food and beverage service, cash handling, keeping the dining area clean, and collaborating with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service. Shifts are scheduled according to the restaurant's opening hours: Mon-Thu 11:00–22:00, Fri-Sat 11:00–23:00, Sun 13:00–21:00. We expect applicants to have previous experience as a waiter/waitress or restaurant training, a positive customer-service attitude and good stress tolerance. In addition, good interaction skills and willingness to work in a busy environment are required for success in this role. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a hygiene pass, and a serving license is a plus. The position is available immediately. The contract is permanent and hours will be agreed with the employee. Salary will be based on the candidate's previous work experience and/or skills according to MARa/TES.
