We are looking for several restaurant/event workers for weekend and gig work at Ikaalinen Spa, especially for the upcoming Christmas party season. Ikaalinen’s spa history dates back to 1884, and operations at the current spa site began in 1955. The long-serving spa hotel reopened after renovation in summer 2021 as Ikaalinen Spa & Resort. The welcoming spa hotel offers varied holiday experiences, and customer experience is everything. Ikaalinen Spa is also a world of culinary experiences with its restaurants, while its full-service Day Spa offers settings for a luxurious facial or relaxing massage. Work is available for both newcomers and experienced professionals. For the Christmas party season, skilled people are especially needed for à la carte serving and serving alcohol. Ikaalinen Spa holds events and gigs almost every weekend, so work is plentiful, particularly during the peak season. You will also get to listen to leading artists while working. This is gig work focused mainly on weekends and evenings, so flexibility with changing shifts is important. Shifts may sometimes continue late into the night, but some gigs are also available on weekday mornings and days, including assisting with buffet breakfasts. You can conveniently select shifts through the Bolt app, making this a good job alongside studies or another job. Most important is a lively, flexible and customer-service-minded attitude. Previous restaurant or event experience is a great advantage because workdays are hectic and situations vary. You should work briskly and not be unsettled by busy periods. Applicants must be at least 18. A hygiene passport and alcohol-serving passport are preferred but not essential. A driving licence and your own car make commuting easier, since public transport from outside Ikaalinen is difficult at shift times. Shared transport from Tampere is sometimes arranged. Hours are available according to demand, with shifts potentially available every weekend during peak seasons. This is ongoing gig work, and the employment relationship is with Bolt.Works.
