Construction Machinery Mechanic

Do you feel good when a machine is back in working order and the quality of the work stands up to scrutiny? We can use your skills. Konetek is looking for a mechanic to work with excavators, wheel loaders and other earthmoving machines. The work is varied and permanent, and working days are generally from 8:00 to 16:00. There is time for other things after work. What will you get to do? You will service, repair and equip earthmoving machines and their attachments. The work includes routine servicing, troubleshooting, and electrical and hydraulic work. Attachments include, among others, Engcon, Rototilt, Steelwrist and SMP. You will work mainly in the workshop and sometimes at customer sites. The machines and tasks change, so you will not have to do the same thing day after day. What do we hope for from you? We hope you have previous experience servicing and repairing excavators, wheel loaders or similar equipment. You can change oil and filters, and when a fault occurs you want to find out its cause as well. You will need: - An understanding of machine electrical and hydraulic systems, and the ability to read electrical drawings and hydraulic diagrams. - Readiness to use diagnostic equipment such as Jaltest, and basic computer skills. - A careful approach, initiative and problem-solving ability. A category C driving licence is an advantage, as our service van requires one. The right colleague for us gets stuck into tasks, asks when necessary and can also follow instructions. The work is practical and physical. Welding skills and knowledge of English or Swedish are a plus. Occupational safety, hot work, road safety and first aid training, as well as refrigeration qualifications, are also considered advantages. They are not prerequisites for applying.
