HUS Helsinki University Hospital is seeking a psychologist for a permanent position in the Child Psychiatry Unit at the Tikkurila campus, starting 1 September 2026 or by agreement. The unit is part of the northern region of child psychiatry and serves Vantaa and Kerava. The psychologist’s duties include consultations, assessments and tests, family and network work, and narrowly targeted individual and group therapies as part of a multiprofessional team. There is a six-strong psychologist group at the unit. We value interest in psychological assessments and research methods for socio-emotional and cognitive development, and view neuropsychiatric conditions as a plus. In addition to clinical work, there are opportunities for development and project tasks. We offer training, thorough onboarding, supervision, and supervisory support. Some work can be done remotely. The role requires flexibility and the ability to work in changing and challenging situations, strong collaboration, and commitment to professional development and pediatric psychiatry experience. The salary for the position is 4350.31–4926.86 €/month plus experience and other supplements. Applications are invited until the deadline. Qualifications include a licensed psychologist and language skills in Finnish (good spoken and written) and Swedish (adequate spoken and written) or Swedish good spoken and written and Finnish adequate spoken and written.
