About the role

We are seeking a permanent Electrical Engineer or electrical engineering specialist for the facilities and maintenance services in our technical facilities. In this role you will act as the district’s electrical engineering specialist, responsible for the reliability, safety and lifecycle management of property electrical systems and participate in the planning and execution of new builds and major renovations. The job combines electrical engineering expertise, contracting and long-term development of the properties. Espoon seurakuntayhtymä provides shared services for five Finnish-speaking and one Swedish-speaking parishes. Property services manage a diverse property portfolio including churches, parish centers, premises, camp and course centers and other facilities. Your duties as a Technical Electrical Specialist include, among others: - Acting as electrical engineering specialist in basic repairs, new constructions and investment projects. - Organising and supervising electrical system inspections, maintenance and upkeep. - Monitoring, optimizing and developing energy solutions for electrical energy consumption. - Project scheduling, budgeting and reporting responsibilities and budgeting. - Preparing design, contracting and procurement documents and procurement competition documents. - Acting as developer in construction and building projects and supervising contractors. - Leading meetings, negotiations and site visits and representing the project interests. - Coordinating indoor air repair planning, execution and supervision. - Ensuring project relevance, functionality and user-centeredness. - Working closely with other facilities professionals and, when necessary, acting as a substitute for the LVIAK electrical engineer. We expect from you: - A suitable electrical engineering education (AMK, vocational school or equivalent) and several years of experience with building electrical systems, contracting or electrical engineering tasks in property management. - S2 electrical qualification, experience with public procurement and experience with investment and renovation projects. - Strong project management and organizational skills, cost-conscious and systematic working style, good collaboration and communication skills. - Interest in improving energy efficiency of buildings and development of electrical systems, good written and spoken Finnish. - Experience in building automation and good Finnish language skills are an advantage. Also valued are good Swedish and English oral and written skills. - Job level 503 according to the Church’s collective agreement and salary 4050-4481 € / month (depending on experience). - Six-month probationary period applies.
