Task description: We are seeking a doctor specializing in adolescent psychiatry for a fixed-term training post. In the training position, a comprehensive plan for the required specialization training is prepared, and your workplace will move according to training needs during the contract, located in both open and ward care units. Your clinic will primarily be in adolescent psychiatry outpatient care, and during the training period the specialist-in-training generally works in several different work teams. You are responsible for holding patient consultations, network collaboration, and planning medication and overall rehabilitation under the guidance of a specialist. All specialist trainee posts include on-call duties as per the training program, with continuous support from specialist physicians during on-call time. What we expect: the selected candidate must be admitted to the adolescent psychiatry specialty training program at Turku University. Positions are filled for no longer than the time required by the applicant to complete the specialist qualifications, with a description of completed and outstanding primary care and core specialty training. Eligibility requires licensure or permission to practice as a physician under the relevant health professional law. Proficiency in Finnish (spoken and written) is required, and satisfactory Swedish language skills (spoken and written). Originals of diplomas and work certificates must be presented.
