Waste Truck Driver

We are seeking multiple waste truck drivers for fixed-term contracts in Vantaa. The driver’s primary task is to collect waste and recycling materials and transport them to subsequent processing on a compacting garbage truck. The role offers varied and diverse duties, with days different from one another. The job is autonomous and typically conducted in two shifts on weekdays. We are looking for workers either for evening shifts or two-shift work. The morning shift starts at 4:30 or 5:30 and the evening shift at 13:30. Tasks begin by agreement in September–October and continue until the end of the year. Requirements include: a valid C-class driving license, professional driver qualification, and a digital tachograph card; responsible, economical and safe driving; sufficient physical fitness to perform the duties; customer-friendly, cheerful, independent, and solution-oriented attitude; fluent Finnish; willingness to use the electronic systems required in the job; prior experience is a plus but the most important is the will to learn and a positive work attitude.
