Mechatronics and Equipment Assembly Technician

Assembler – mechatronics and equipment assembly We are seeking an assembler for our customer company in Varkaus, North Savo, for varied assembly work on production machinery and equipment. The position is permanent and full-time. Our customer company operates as a contract manufacturer in mechatronics and produces various technical equipment assemblies to meet its customers’ needs. Your duties consist of varied and precision-focused assembly and installation work on machinery and equipment. You will be able to use your mechanical assembly skills and knowledge of electrical, automation and electronic components. What we expect from you We are looking for someone with previous experience in technical assembly and installation work, who can work carefully and independently according to technical instructions and drawings. We particularly value: - Experience assembling machinery, equipment or mechatronic systems - Knowledge of mechanical assembly and electrical and automation components - Ability to read technical drawings and assembly instructions - Understanding of mechatronics and electronics - A precise, conscientious and proactive approach to work - Good Finnish skills, as Finnish is the working language Relevant education, for example a qualification as an electrical, automation or mechatronics installer, provides a good foundation for succeeding in the role. Strong skills acquired through practical work experience will also be considered. Possibility of installation assignments Someone who can carry out installation work independently and is willing to travel may occasionally have the opportunity to take part in installation work at customer sites around Finland.
