Sales Assistant

We are seeking a proactive Sales Assistant to join Hankkija’s Vaasa and Kyrönmaa stores. If customer service and a versatile store environment excite you, you may be the right fit. As a sales assistant you will handle customer service and sales tasks at the cash register, in-store, and in the warehouse. Your duties include receiving deliveries, checking and shelving, maintaining product displays, and ensuring general store order. The role also includes warehouse work requiring physical fitness. Forklift driving is a plus, but not required. We value the right attitude and a genuine desire to develop yourself. We provide orientation and a friendly team atmosphere. You should be of legal age and able to serve customers in Finnish and Swedish. The position is permanent, full-time (37.5 h/week) with start date by agreement. We offer a competitive salary and consider prior relevant experience in the pay. The contract follows the Shop’s collective agreement. Your work hours will alternate between Vaasa and Kyrönmaa stores, with flexibility to work at both locations. Barona participates in the recruitment process, but you will be employed by Hankkija.
