Early Childhood Education Teacher

We are seeking a permanent early childhood education teacher for Maitorpan Daycare, starting 1 September 2026 or by agreement. The daycare has four groups and operates in the Maitorpan residential area. We actively utilize nearby playgrounds and regularly go on forest trips. Our facilities enable strong small-group activities in line with the early childhood education plan. We are part of the ProVaka operating model, where adults model positive behavior, support an inclusive environment, and foster consistent guiding practices that value social skills. In our unit, two broad-scope early childhood education teachers assist and support you especially on matters related to child support, and a development-oriented branch nurse is available for collaboration with families. A sak-päivä (planning day for one whole day) is scheduled for the teaching shift, and once a week all teachers have a common sak-time during the day.
