Telecommunications Technician

This is not just any job. We do work with a meaningful impact on Finland's security. We are seeking a TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNICIAN or SENIOR TECHNICIAN for our Ervejoukko. Erillisverkot is a state-owned company with a special mission: we provide secure and reliable ICT services to authorities and critical infrastructure operators in all conditions. These services ensure Finland remains one of the safest countries now and in the future. As a technician, you will perform installation, maintenance and repair tasks on the telecommunications network, participate in documentation, and be on-call for fault resolution. You may be experienced or a recent graduate – you will have opportunities to grow and learn. The position is based in Rovaniemi, travel within Finland required. This role suits you if you have at least basic skills in telecommunications installation and maintenance and a desire to expand your expertise. A B-class driving license is required (BE is a plus). Independent and proactive attitude, good teamwork and communication skills, and possibly electrical work capabilities are valued. The job is under the TES-Energia-ICT-Verkostoala collective agreement with a wage grid of 4–5, base salary 2661–2845 €/kk, plus up to 45% personal pay depending on experience.
