Early Childhood Education Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic early childhood education teacher to join Illenpihan unit in Vantaa. The role involves implementing sensitive and safe daily routines with children at its core, reading and responding to the needs of both children and the team, and utilizing various teaching methods. The unit operates with two teachers and one assistant, and the position may become permanent later. The unit is part of the Illenpihan early childhood education unit along with Illenpuisto. We value initiative, collaboration, and a positive working culture, and encourage experimentation within a supportive environment. ProVaka practice is used to support children's social skills. Requirements include good written and spoken Finnish language skills, strong teamwork, and commitment. Prior experience in early childhood education is an asset. The terms follow the Municipal Education Personnel Collective Agreement (OVTES). Salary starts at 3129.46–3234.53 EUR/month, with additional allowances for certain qualifications. The role is full-time with a 6-month probationary period. The job location is in Vantaa, Finland.
