Pharmacy Technician

We are hiring at HUS Pharmacy, a vantage point in the field of pharmacy. We are seeking a pharmacy technician for the HUS Pharmacy services as a temporary position to cover parental leave at Hyvinkää Hospital. Your duties include the pharmaceutical logistics tasks for Hyvinkää Hospital's Emergency Department and Intensive Monitoring, such as mapping order needs, unpacking medicine and infusion orders to storage locations, and minimizing drug waste. In wards you will work in collaboration with ward pharmacists. You will also fill infusion medication trolleys and smart medicine cabinets. We value proactive, cooperative, flexible and eager-to-learn attitude and working in a multidisciplinary environment. The employment is a fixed-term parental leave substitution. It starts by agreement and continues at least until 30 May 2027. The salary is according to the Social and Health Care sector collective agreement (SOTE); the task-specific salary for the pharmacy technician without prior pharmacy experience at HUS Pharmacy is 2469.94 €/month. After orientation and familiarisation, the job-specific salary is 2631.03 €/month. In addition, an experience allowance is paid based on experience in the pharmacy technician duties. Working time is flexible standard hours (7h 39min) typically 07:30–16:00. Annual leave accrual is per SOTE agreement (up to 38 days/year).
