Primary location: Turku, Finland. Grow into a manager in ordinary jobs—in an unusually good team. We are now seeking five S-Store Manager trainees to grow into results-oriented managers at Turun Osuuskauppa. The trainees will be employed on a permanent full-time basis, and the roughly year-and-a-half program starts on 24 November 2026. During the training you will gain strong readiness for supervisory roles and for managing business and everyday operations. In this recruitment, roles in the retail sector are in the store sector (Sale stores, S-market stores and Prismo). In the restaurant sector we look primarily at quick-service units such as lunch cafes and Hesburger. The S-Store Manager Training combines on-the-job learning with business acumen development. You will work in Turun Osuuskauppa’s various units across Varsinais-Suomi and gain hands-on insight into daily operations. The training requires the ability to work varied shifts including weekdays and weekends according to site schedules. Our managers are not just in the office; they are where the action is—among customers, products, portions, team and day-to-day adjustments. During the work-learning phase you will serve customers, develop unit operations, ensure sales readiness, and participate in daily business leadership. Some days are calmer, others busy, but that is where you learn how to build a good workday, a functioning team and a profitable business. The training is tailored to your experience and skills. Each participant is assigned a tutor who acts as your supervisor, supports your learning and helps shape a personal development path. The training is conducted in collaboration with Jollas Institute. In addition to practical work you will take local classes with other regional cooperatives’ trainees, complete online studies and assignments, and implement a project. This gives a broad view of your own sector and of S-group’s business as a whole.
