About the role
We are strengthening our Accounting team in Bocholt. Key responsibilities include acting as the operative contact for accounting questions within the SAP Finance environment, and providing professional governance and coordination of the external accounting service provider (quality assurance, escalation management). You will coordinate operational tasks between the service provider and group entities, including prioritisation and follow-up. You will support international entities, possibly with targeted short trainings and assistance with day-to-day accounting and finance questions, and provide operational guidance for international finance teams and the service provider. You'll help resolve posting errors, deviations and special cases in SAP with a focus on SAP FI (and submodules), but also adjacent modules like SAP CO. You will assist in developing technical concepts (including posting logic and value flows), migration concepts, preparation and cleansing activities, etc. You will support monthly and year-end closings by troubleshooting and providing the necessary information – without performing your own postings. Your profile: commercial training and passed accounting/finance qualification (Bilanzbuchhalter) or a degree in Accounting/Finance; solid experience in operational accounting areas (OTC, PtP, RtR) with very good SAP FI/CO knowledge, ideally SAP S/4HANA; understanding of accounting interdependencies, transaction chains and ERP posting logic. Ideally experience with collaboration with an external BPO service provider. Structured, analytical, solution-oriented work style with enjoyment of operational troubleshooting; strong communication in German and English, comfortable dealing with external service providers and internal stakeholders globally; high reliability, quality consciousness and hands-on mentality.
