Excavator Spotter 1 position Turku WE Rekry Oy – Earthworks Worker, Spotter Are you looking for earthworks where you can make a visible, concrete contribution and spend your days doing practical work? In this role, you will partner with an excavator operator at an infrastructure site, working on building foundation preparation as part of the site’s everyday operations. What is WE Rekry Oy? In this role, you will be employed in a long-term earthworks assignment, where you can take part in practical work and possibly continue on other projects after this site. What will you do? The site is in Turku, and the work involves preparing the ground for building foundations, earthmoving and preparing the soil. You will work closely with the excavator operator and help ensure that work stages proceed according to plan. Your duties include, for example: - Installing sewer networks and pipelines - Assisting with excavation and pipe-laying work alongside the excavator operator - Using pipe and line lasers - Measuring elevations according to technical drawings The work is suited to you if you enjoy being outdoors, approach work energetically and value seeing your contribution immediately in the progress of the site. What do we expect from you? We hope you already have some experience in earthworks or similar tasks. A practical approach and understanding of everyday site work are most important. - Practical understanding of earthworks - Ability to work alongside an excavator operator - Ability to read technical drawings - Ability to carry out basic measurements on site - Experience with or readiness to use pipe and line lasers - An independent and responsible approach to work - Excellent Finnish language skills Considered an advantage Previous experience in infrastructure or foundation work is useful in this role. We also value care, cooperation and an attitude that gets the work properly finished.
