Purpose of the role In this high-impact role, you will partner directly with executive leadership to translate Hiab’s vision into actionable growth plans—driving organic and inorganic expansion and identifying priorities that directly advance our long-term objectives to become number one in the global on-road load handling industry. You will lead a team to deliver our market and competitor insights and analytics, facilitate strategy development and management in our Business Areas, facilitate the Hoshin Kanri/Strategy Deployment process, and manage specific group-wide strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities Enterprise Strategy & Common Direction Company-Wide Alignment: Lead the annual and multi-year strategy process, synthesizing inputs from all Business Areas to establish a clear, cohesive enterprise direction and strategic narrative Cross-Business Harmonization: Identify synergies, cross-divisional opportunities, and shared growth vectors across Business Areas to maximize enterprise value and operational efficiency. Strategic Execution & Metrics: Define corporate-level KPIs and governance structures to monitor strategy implementation, bridging the gap between high-level vision and divisional execution. Facilitate strategy deployment and ongoing strategy execution governance and monthly reviews Market and Competitor Intelligence & Strategic Insights Intelligence Ecosystem: Oversee the Market Insights function to deliver continuous macro-economic, industry, customer, and competitor analytics to the Executive Board. Data-Driven Decision Making: Transform complex market research and benchmark data into actionable insights that inform resource allocation, product positioning, and new market entry. M&A Strategic Partnership Inorganic Growth Agenda: Partner closely with the M&A team to define strategic acquisition themes, target profiles, and portfolio expansion priorities aligned with company goals. Strategic Due Diligence & Integration: Provide strategic evaluation of potential acquisition targets and collaborate with corporate/divisional leads to ensure post-merger integration plans deliver on core business case objectives. Leadership & Organization Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of strategy professionals Business Area Advisory: Empower Business Area Strategy Managers to act as embedded strategic advisors to divisional leaders, ensuring divisional plans naturally align with overall company direction. Executive Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to Hiab Leadership team, facilitating key strategic discussions and alignment workshops. Requirements
- 10+ years of experience driving corporate or business unit strategy in a global, matrix organization, preferably in industrial enterprise

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, ability to crystallize and communicate the strategy and its KPIs to all stakeholders
