Overview Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO&I) is the team behind the cloud. The Construction Metro Director will lead construction project management across multiple datacenter and campus projects in North Rhine-Westphalia, ensuring the portfolio meets Microsoft’s safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets. Responsibilities include overseeing deployment of large-scale delivery solutions, setting goals for internal and external project teams, monitoring KPIs, providing feedback, analyzing delivery options, supporting procedures and standards, ensuring safe worksites, establishing risk mitigation goals with metrics, managing vendors, and reporting on scope, schedule, and budget. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field and significant related experience or equivalent experience; experience with large-scale construction in data center environments; solid project and people management experience. This role requires passing Microsoft Cloud Background Check and security screenings as part of the hiring process.
