About the role

This job posting is for an existing, active vacancy and we are looking to hire Product Owner / Product Consultant at Plano, TX (Hybrid), immediately who has strong experience in lead digital product initiatives across customer-facing and internal business applications. Role Overview: We are seeking a Product Owner / Product Consultant to lead digital product initiatives across customer-facing and internal business applications. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, operations, and leadership to define product strategy, manage requirements, and drive successful delivery using Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy & Roadmap — Define and articulate product vision, strategy, and roadmap; Align product priorities with business goals and organizational objectives; Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digital transformation; Conduct market and competitive analysis to support product direction. Requirements Management — Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements; Create user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria; Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews; Prioritize product backlog based on business value, customer impact, and technical dependencies. Agile Delivery — Own and manage product backlog; Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release planning activities; Partner with Scrum Masters, Architects, Developers, QA teams, and Business SMEs; Ensure requirements are clearly understood by development teams; Participate in sprint reviews and product demonstrations. Stakeholder Management — Collaborate with business executives, operations leaders, product teams, and technology stakeholders; Communicate roadmap status, risks, issues, and dependencies; Drive decision-making among cross-functional teams; Manage stakeholder expectations throughout project lifecycle. Testing & Release Support — Support UAT planning and execution; Validate solutions against business requirements; Assist with production deployment planning and post-release monitoring; Coordinate defect triage and resolution activities. Analytics & Reporting — Define KPIs and success metrics; Analyze product performance and customer feedback; Make data-driven recommendations for enhancements. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience as Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Consultant, or Senior Business Analyst; Strong experience with Agile and Scrum frameworks; Experience creating User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Process Flows, Business Requirements Documents, Functional Specifications; Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro or similar tools; Strong communication and presentation skills; Stakeholder management with senior leadership; Ability to work with distributed onshore/offshore delivery teams. Preferred Qualifications include Financial Services, Banking, Lending, Insurance, or Automotive Finance experience; Digital Transformation experience; APIs, cloud technologies, data platforms; AI/GenAI initiatives; SAFe, CSPO, POPM, PMP, CBAP certifications. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering; Master’s Degree preferred. The pay range for this role is CAD $100,000 - CAD $120,000 per annum including bonuses. Tech Mahindra benefits include medical, vision, dental, life, disability insurance and paid time off.
