Early Childhood Education Teacher

We are seeking an Early Childhood Education Teacher for Havukallion daycare, to start on 1 September 2026. Havukallio daycare is located in a nature-rich residential area with good transport links. The environment emphasizes play, inclusion and language development, and the team works with a broad pedagogical approach, including support from a wide-range of specialists and a developers teacher. The unit uses the ProVaka model (Positive Group Learning in Early Childhood Education). The successful candidate will work with five groups of children, in renovated rooms, contributing to a safe, joyful, and curious everyday life for children, and to individualized attention and praise. You will join a capable, professional staff, with strong teamwork and mutual support. The unit also serves as a mentor site for student teachers. We expect you to be warm, sensitive, collaborative, flexible, development-minded, and to help build high-quality pedagogy. Proficiency in Finnish (spoken and written) is required.
