The Early Childhood Social Educator will be part of an multi-professional team in the kindergarten, contributing to pedagogical planning, implementation and evaluation in collaboration with other professionals. You will be responsible for child welfare collaboration with families, and promoting belonging and inclusion together with guardians and other child- and family-service actors. You will work in the 2–4-year-old group at Ylästö Kindergarten, which is part of the Ylästö unit comprising three kindergartens, led by a parallel management model with one director responsible for staff and another for pedagogy. We emphasize inclusive leadership and a collaborative, inspiring and supportive work climate. The role requires a flexible, positive and team-oriented approach, with attentive listening to children and sensitive handling of everyday situations. You will join a workforce of 17 early childhood professionals plus a varying number of support staff. The position is permanent and located at Ylästö Kindergarten. Employment terms follow the Municipal General Collective Agreement (KVTES). Salary: 3113–3218 EUR/month with a 3–8% seniority-based allowance. The role requires a current criminal background check and TB clearance for applicants in contact with under- School children. The daily schedule is 38h15m per week.
