Customs Clearance Employee

In this role, you will work closely with experienced colleagues and gradually take on responsible tasks in import and/or export processing. Key responsibilities: • Prepare electronic customs declarations for imports and/or exports. • Prepare supplementary documents, such as EUR.1 and ATR movement certificates. • Monitor customs processes and assist with handling enquiries from customs authorities. • Communicate with customers, freight forwarders and customs authorities. • In due course, support smaller projects in the customs area. Your profile: • Successfully completed vocational training in freight forwarding, wholesale and foreign trade, logistics or a comparable qualification. • Knowledge of customs and export processing or initial practical experience gained through internships or vocational training. • Confident use of MS Office. • Practical experience with SAP/GTS is an advantage. • Interest in customs matters and willingness to develop professionally. • Careful, structured way of working and team spirit. • Very good German and English skills.
