Could it be you? Laajavuori Day Care Centre belongs to the Jokiuoma operational unit. The day care centre has three children's groups. Our unit operates with parallel leadership, where one director is responsible for personnel and the other for pedagogy. Our unit participates in the ProVaka (positively learning in a group in early childhood education) development activity. The development social worker in early childhood education is responsible for promoting the community spirit of the operational unit, children's well-being, inclusion, and a safe operating environment. The role emphasizes the prevention of bullying, supporting children's emotional and social skills, and supporting and developing parenthood. You will participate in multidisciplinary teamwork and guide families to other family services as needed. Key areas of work: - Implementation of early childhood education - participation in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the unit's activities. - Well-being work, support for growth and development - early identification and response to needs related to a child's social and peer skills, well-being, growth, and development. - Interaction and cooperation - educational cooperation with families and guardians, as well as professional interaction within the work community and professional teams. - Evaluation and development - evaluation of the operational unit's activities and active development of working practices from a social-pedagogical perspective. Evaluation and development of practices that support inclusion and well-being together with the staff. What we expect from you: - knowledge of the early childhood education plan and the Early Childhood Education Act - cooperation skills - expertise in the development and support of a child's social and peer skills, as well as the strengths and challenges of parenthood - experience in early childhood education methods, well-being, growth, and development - an independent and developmental approach to work - ability to promote operating methods that support community spirit, inclusion, and equality - good written and oral proficiency in Finnish.
