Early Years Special Education Teacher

As a Special Education Teacher you are a pioneer of support, a developer of pedagogy and a strengthener of the community. Your core duties include designing and implementing support in cooperation with the teacher and the day care director; serving as a co-teacher in groups; assessing, implementing and documenting individual support measures; ensuring the quality of pedagogical documentation from a support perspective; instructing staff in up-to-date practices and implementation of supports; collaborating across welfare, social and health services; supporting and guiding the team in special pedagogy work; working with guardians in a sensitive and goal-oriented manner; identifying and developing the unit's pedagogical strengths and competencies; this is a mobile job, you will work in one or more units and municipalities within the Turku region. The work primarily targets preschool-aged children but may include younger ones. You have the opportunity to influence your role, which is flexible and adjustable by agreement.
