We are seeking a person for our youth affairs team, passionate about working with young people. The main workplace for the youth club supervisor is Haapaveden nuoppari, i.e., the youth centre. Working hours are 14 hours per week, with shifts usually in the evenings 16:00–22:00 and occasional weekend work. The youth centre is a place where young people can spend their free time. Adults working there have an important role for youth wellbeing, with guidance and presence, as well as monitoring the space and planning, developing, and implementing activities in collaboration with youths and other staff. The tasks require suitable education or work experience in the field, communication and cooperation skills, initiative, and planning/guidance skills. Experience with children and youths is an advantage. We value a positive, encouraging and educational work attitude. Owning a car is an advantage. Salary and terms of employment are determined according to KVTES. A four-month probation period applies. Before starting, a criminal record extract as required by law must be presented.
