We are looking for a CNC machinist and turner for Katsa Oy in Ikaalinen. Katsa Oy is a Finnish specialist in power transmission solutions designing and manufacturing power transmission components and customer-tailored special gears for demanding industrial needs. The company’s high-quality gears and special gears are used worldwide in ships’ engines, power plants and paper machines. Katsa also offers power transmission modeling, modernization, gearbox maintenance and spare parts services and manufactures various toothed parts for both single and series production. In recent years, the company has developed its expertise following Lean Six Sigma principles, expanded manufacturing expertise to offshore sectors, and grown its services and exports internationally. In the role you will work with demanding and high-quality machining components as part of a skilled production team. Your duties include operating the CNC center, changing parts and quality control during machining. You may participate in reprogramming machines and take responsibility for weekly maintenance. The candidate should work precisely, take responsibility for the quality of their work and enjoy a production environment where teamwork and continuous development are valued. The work is performed in shifts. Knowledge of Heidenhain control is required.
