We are looking for a QA/QC inspector in Belgium for a mechanical client of mine working on a large scale pharmaceutical project in the Antwerp region. You will be working on a Large scale pharmaceutical project, supporting a contractor working on a piping and mechanical package. This role is for a Mechanical Subcontractor working for a Contractor. The main activities of the client are Mechanical Piping, designing of packages and both the installation and fabrication. Our client works across projects in the Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas, Semi-Conductor and Data Centre Market. Our client are especially interested to interview project managers with experience handling mechanical packages, including piping scopes. They are also particularly interested in speaking with people with mechanical contractor experience.

Responsibilities
- QA/QC Inspector for piping and mechanical scope
- Inspect and document piping packages and mechanical installations
- Support a contractor with installation and fabrication quality
- Walkdowns and P&IDs verification
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards on highly regulated projects
- Onsite coordination with subcontractors
- Maintain records and generate QA/QC reports
Requirements
- Mechanical/Piping background
- 3 years + experience as a qa/qc inspector for mechanical and piping
- Experience with piping packages, P+ID'S, walkdowns, inspections and documentation
- Experience working on highly regulated projects is desirable
- Onsite work experience for contractor or sub-contractor
- CSWIP 3.2 welding certification is desirable
- Happy to be based in Belgium for a 16-18 week duration
- 5/1 rotation offered
- English Speaking, Dutch is advantageous
