g2 Recruitment are currently working with an exciting client based in the Amsterdam area, who are looking for a Mechanical Technician/Mechanisch Monteur with a strong hands-on bias. The client are growing quickly and with the option for an immediate start. The client specialises in equipment manufacturing for the Aviation, Automotive and Defense industries, working on complex manufacturing projects for international clients. You will be working on mechanical assembly and manufacturing, focusing primarily on hydraulic systems, generators/engines and cooling systems, working from technical drawings, closely with the engineering teams. The client is looking for candidates to join the team on a permanent basis, and with a growing pipeline of work coming in, the role comes with good progression and development opportunity.

Responsibilities
- You will be working on mechanical assembly and manufacturing, focusing primarily on hydraulic systems, generators/engines and cooling systems, working from technical drawings, closely with the engineering teams
Requirements
- Manufacturing/assembly experience with a mechanical bias
- Able to interpret technical drawings and complete manufacturing processes accordingly
- Experience within equipment manufacturing environments (aviation, aerospace, automotive, defense very beneficial)
- Hands-on bias, enthusiastic about assembling and building engineering packages
- Any experience with generators, engines, cooling systems or hydraulics very beneficial
