We are offering a fixed-term position for a Varhaiskasvatuksen opettaja at Länsituulen daycare from 1 September 2026 to 14 April 2026, placed in a pre-school group with 21 children. Länsituulen daycare is an extended opening unit with 10 groups and additional open early childhood education. We have 4 preschool groups with opening hours 6:30–17:00, and preschool sessions Monday–Friday 8:30–12:30. The teaching certificate must comply with the Varhaiskasvatuslaki (540/2018) and the transitional provisions (75§). The degree requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Education with professional studies in early childhood education or social pedagogy at 60 credits. The role requires good interpersonal and cooperative skills and flexibility in daily routines. The job’s base pay follows a step-based pay system and levels of competence and responsibility, between €2929.39 and €3042.60 per month. Actual salary consists of base pay and possible job-specific allowances under OV TES. Before starting, a police background check for those working with children is required, and a health check related to infectious disease is also required per law. The position includes a probationary period.
