We are seeking a permanent Early Childhood Education Teacher to join Havukallio Daycare starting 1 September 2026. Havukallio Daycare is located in a nature-rich residential area with good transport links. The unit runs five groups of children and recently refurbished spaces, offering opportunities to work with a supportive staff team to create engaging and functional learning environments. Our pedagogy emphasizes emotional and social skills as well as language development, with a focus on play, participation, curiosity, and safe, joyful everyday life for children. The team includes an additional special education teacher and a development teacher to support pedagogy, and we use the ProVaka model (Positive group-based learning in early childhood education). We value collaboration, flexibility, and a willingness to develop high-quality pedagogy together with the rest of the staff. The role requires strong Finnish language skills, both spoken and written. We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds. The position is permanent, starting 01.09.2026, with a six-month trial period and a full-time schedule (38 h 15 min/week).
