Psychologist

We are seeking a licensed psychologist for Oma Hämeen kasvatus- ja perheneuvonta in Hämeenlinna to cover parental leave from 23.09.2026 for about one year, possibly longer. Oma Häme emphasizes high‑quality multidisciplinary collaboration across units. The post is in the HML2 team (central Hämeenlinna / western area). The office is located in Hämeenlinna city center, Birger Jaarlin street, at the Uppis family center, within walking distance from the railway station. The role involves promoting child well‑being, individual growth, and positive development, as well as supporting parenting, strengthening family resources, and conducting assessments, guidance and counseling related to family life, relationships and social skills. Child mental health work and research are part of the psychologist’s duties, with regular medical consultations arranged. Applicants must be licensed psychologists; experience with children, youth and families, especially in growth and family services, is considered an advantage. The job pays a base monthly salary of 4604.90€. Additional experience-based pay of 0–8% may be paid on top. Annual leave accrues based on service time. Working hours are 37.75 hours per week.
