**Job Description** We are seeking a Head Chef for North Resort Oy to be responsible for the overall kitchen operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen, staff, quality, profitability, and safety, as well as developing restaurant services as part of an international tourism center. **Key Responsibilities** - Daily management of the kitchen, supervision of kitchen staff, and participation in daily kitchen operations. - Shift planning and organization of personnel resources. - Procurement, supplier cooperation, and inventory management. - Planning and developing menus in accordance with North Resort's strategy. - Margin calculation, cost monitoring, and profitability development. - Self-monitoring, food safety, occupational safety, and quality control. - Planning the beverage selection in cooperation with the Resort Manager. - Reporting to the Resort Manager. **Requirements** - Suitable education and experience in managing restaurant kitchen operations. - Supervisory experience and good organizational skills. - Valid hygiene passport. - Other possible statutory qualifications and permits required for the position. - Good knowledge of self-monitoring, food legislation, and occupational safety regulations. - Fluent English skills; other language skills are considered an advantage. **We Offer** - The opportunity to build the restaurant operations of a new international tourist destination. - A versatile and responsible management position. - The opportunity to influence the development of the restaurant's food and beverage concepts. - A professional work community and a modern working environment. **Terms of Employment** - The employment is permanent or fixed-term depending on the role. - Working hours are determined according to the shift schedule. - The employment follows the Collective Agreement for Tourism, Restaurant and Leisure Services (MaRa TES). - A 6-month probationary period applies in accordance with the Employment Contracts Act and the collective agreement. - Salary is determined based on skills, experience, and MaRa TES. - The selected person must provide an acceptable medical certificate regarding their health status before the start of employment.
