Join us to do meaningful work. We are seeking a social work graduate (AMK) to join our team as a housing support worker for TUPA services from 28.9.2026 to 11.8.2027. TUPA services provide living support and guidance to individuals who live in their own homes. The work is moving, independent and, above all, people-centered. As a guide you accompany the client and support them in areas where help is needed, such as household tasks, cooking, money management or arranging leisure, strengthening social relationships, or maintaining wellbeing. You do not do for the client what they can do themselves — you support, encourage and succeed together with them. The role requires the ability to work independently and make decisions in various everyday situations, with another guide nearby to share thoughts and expertise. We value initiative, flexibility, good interaction skills and a way of working that strengthens the client’s resources. Previous experience with people with developmental disabilities and having a own car for work is an advantage. What we expect from you: Sosionomi AMK qualification; valid medical licenses and hygienic passport are welcome. Enthusiasm for learning, good teamwork, empathetic and client‑oriented attitude; vaccination protection under the Communicable Diseases Act (section 48) and health status check under section 55 for tuberculosis; registration as a licensed professional with Valvira or suitable student status; for over three months’ employment: background check from the Social and Health Care Supervisory Authority as required by law. What we offer: thorough onboarding and a professional team’s ongoing support; opportunities to develop through Savas Academy training; coffee breaks during workdays; Epassi Flex benefit for contracts over 30 days; for over three months’ employment: occupational health services and health insurance. Applications by 6.9.2026. Apply soon, as decisions are made during the application period. More about Savas-Säätiö: www.savas.fi. Inquiries: unit manager Saila Rummukainen, 044 430 6340 or specialist Niina Argillander, 0440 363 508. Salary and other terms comply with the Private Social Services Sector Collective Agreement; retirement benefits under TyEL. Savas is a smoke-free workplace.
