Helsingin työllisyyspalvelut offers impactful solutions to help Helsinki residents find employment. We support jobseekers in gaining the skills needed to become employed and remove barriers to employment. We are seeking two employment specialists for adult teams in the Polkupalvelut unit to assist jobseekers further from the labor market. The specialists will guide clients to appropriate services and help them toward employment, taking responsibility for assessing service needs, guiding services, and decisions related to unemployment benefits, and following up on job search obligations. They will coach clients to find employment-related solutions. We aim to build a service process that actively directs clients to labor market opportunities and to services that promote employment and skill development, reinforcing client autonomy. The role requires an upper-education degree or equivalent, strong Finnish language skills (spoken and written) and good English, plus satisfactory Swedish or another language. Desired: up-to-date knowledge of employment promotion, and the ability to provide concrete examples from one’s career in the application. The application deadline is 3 September 2026 at 16:00. Interviews in weeks 36; permanent or fixed-term positions with a six-month trial period; anonymized recruitment is used to promote equality.
