Fitness Instructor

Vanajaveden Opisto is seeking an energetic and responsible fitness instructor (one or more) to lead activity clubs at Hämeenlinna schools as part of the Harrastus ihan lähellä program. The position is a fixed-term contract from 1 September 2026 to 7 May 2027, with roughly 2–15 hours per week depending on the number of clubs. The role may also include adult fitness instruction. Clubs operate across a wide area of Hämeenlinna and typically run from 13:00 to 17:00. Your responsibilities include planning and leading sport clubs for children, creating a safe and engaging environment, guiding and encouraging kids to participate in physical activity, and adapting activities to individual needs. We value prior experience in exercise guidance, a motivating and supportive approach, strong interaction and collaboration skills, independence, and relevant education or studies.
