Test Engineer

We are looking for a System and Automation Industry Testing Engineer for Installery in the Uudenmaan area. We offer interesting tasks within industrial systems and an opportunity to develop your expertise as part of a skilled team. Installery specializes in industrial project, maintenance and inspection services. We are known for high-quality workmanship, strong professional expertise and customer-oriented approach. What will your job include? You will participate in testing automation systems and devices, designing tests, developing them and implementing them in the field at our customers’ sites. Assignments are long-term. You will first get familiar with the systems with the help of more experienced colleagues and then take ownership of whole entities whose operation and development you will work on with your team. Our targets are located in the Uusimaa region, so having your own car facilitates travel. Our customers include high-tech players, industrial production plants and critical systems sites. You will work in interesting environments and leave your mark alongside industry’s top experts. Your work will be on a day shift, and your presence at our customer sites is about 80–100%; remote work is possible for example when documenting or reporting. What do we expect from you? We require at least 3–4 years of experience in electrical and/or automation installations, fault finding and troubleshooting, and knowledge of automation through different control systems (PLC, interfaces). We also offer opportunities for more experienced professionals. The position requires vocational qualification in electrical and/or automation engineering, or an engineering degree; practical experience and genuine interest in electrical and automation are highly valued. The role requires knowledge of industrial electrical and automation components, system-level understanding (fieldbuses, interconnects, user interfaces) and experience with measurements, inspections and testing. Our working language is Finnish. Basic English is also essential for interpreting technical manuals and interacting with customers. Why Installery? Salary and benefits Salary is about 3500–4300 €/month depending on experience.
