Youth Psychiatrist or Addiction Physician

We are recruiting doctors (youth psychiatrist / addiction doctor) for the period from October 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, in state residential schools across Finland. The role involves working as a medical expert in a multidisciplinary team, assessing mental and physical health, preparing statements for special care, participating in team work, guiding treatment needs, and collaborating with well-being regions and other actors. The work is demanding but highly meaningful at the intersection of child protection and mental health. Work locations include Sippola (Kouvola), Vuorel (Vihd), Lagmansgården (Pietarsaari), with possibilities for substitutes in Mikkeli and Liminka. Workdays are flexible, Monday to Friday, and on-site work only. Requirements include being a licensed doctor (LL), with specialization in youth psychiatry or addiction medicine, experience with youth mental health, substance use, or child protection, good communication skills, and proficiency in Finnish and Swedish for Lagmansgården.
