About the role

TransPerfect Connect is looking for German<>English<>Spanish trilingual interpreters at all levels with demonstrated experience in professional interpretation. We provide six weeks of remote/online (or onsite) training with a dedicated trainer. Interpreters will provide consecutive interpretation remotely via phone and via Video Remote Interpreting (VRI). Qualifications include high school diploma or GED, fluent proficiency in German, English and Spanish, ability to pass a language assessment, and a quiet home workspace. Equipment: Windows or Mac computer, reliable broadband, webcam, and up-to-date processor. Prior bilingual customer service experience is a plus. Responsibilities

  • Provide consecutive interpretation remotely via phone
  • Provide Video Remote Interpreting (VRI)
  • Assist clients (patients, banks, etc.) with language barriers
  • Communicate clearly and accurately
  • Support customer service goals

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Fluency in German, English and Spanish
  • Pass language assessment
  • Prior bilingual customer service experience a plus
  • Quiet home workspace
  • Windows or Mac computer with 8GB RAM or higher
  • Broadband internet with at least 25Mbps
  • Webcam
  • Up-to-date OS
