Business Group Manager

In this position, you will play a significant role in growing and developing our energy and sustainability business. You will be responsible for the direction of the business area, identify current trends in the segment and new business opportunities, and boldly put them into practice. You know the market, see where value is created, and can convert industry changes – legislation, CSRD, carbon neutrality goals, and energy efficiency – into concrete services and clients. Your work combines project work, sales, and client work. You build and deepen significant client relationships, identify clients' needs related to sustainability and energy management, and seek solutions together with the team being built. You proactively bring new concepts, requirements, and opportunities to clients and ensure they are implemented as joint team activities through coordination and knowledge sharing. You will serve as the group manager for our energy and sustainability team, which you will build yourself. Your role is to act as an experienced lead and spar partner for other specialists, lead the team, and create the conditions for its growth. You are up to date with sustainability and energy issues as legislation and the field evolve, and you can integrate new requirements into the group's business. There will be no two days the same in this job. Your team will consist of sustainability and energy management experts with broad expertise in various areas. Regarding salary: the salary level in this position is €5,000-6,000/month. This is influenced by your expertise as well as the correspondence of your profile and potential with what we are seeking. Could you be the expert we are looking for? To succeed in this position, experience and insight are most important. We are looking for a person with strong experience in the energy and/or sustainability field, preferably in the context of the real estate and construction industry, and ideally with evidence of developing and growing a business. You understand the sustainability and energy requirements and opportunities of companies operating in the real estate sector, and you can present and sell these concepts and services to customers. In terms of education, you are, for example, a Master of Science in Technology (Diplom-insinööri) or a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration. Previous experience in leading a team or business is considered an advantage. We value an outgoing, dynamic, and entrepreneurial nature as well as a strong own network in the real estate sector. You need an independent and bold way of working, and you have experience in customer work with a customer-centric approach. You will get to utilize your communication and negotiation skills: you present your own view constructively, but you also know how to listen and find solutions together.
