Spanish-English Interpreter

TransPerfect Connect interpreters serve as key liaisons enabling clear communication across languages. This role trains as an Over the Phone Interpreter, with a pathway from basic interpretation to handling more complex call types as proficiency grows. The program includes remote/online training conducted with a dedicated trainer, focusing on interpretation, listening skills, and industry-specific terminology. Post-training expectations include excellent customer service, clear and accurate communication, and adherence to work requirements. The position offers opportunities to learn new subject matter, qualify for more challenging call types, and advance within the company. Qualifications include Advanced English Proficiency, Dominican ID, High School Diploma, and 1+ year of contact center experience. The role requires reliable home internet (min 25 Mbps), access to electricity with an uninterrupted power source or inverter, and a quiet home office within Gran Santo Domingo city limits.
