Mechanical Design Engineer

We are expanding our industrial operations and are seeking Mechanical/Industrial designers for our Turku office to handle machine-, piping-, industrial-, and mechanical-design tasks across projects, deliveries, product development and maintenance design. The work may take place at our Turku office or at customer sites in the Turku economic area or elsewhere in Varsinais-Suomi or Satakunta. Final role and work location depend on the candidate's qualifications, experience and residence. We require technical education (e.g. Mechanical Engineer, AMK engineer, DI or advanced student). About 2–3 years of experience in machine, mechanical or product design. Proficiency in modern 3D design software. Language requirements: Finnish and English. We value experience in the following industries and product areas: machine shop, process industry (machinery, piping, process equipment, ducts), conveyors and lifting devices, construction materials, mobile machinery and/or mobility equipment, automotive industry, construction materials, mining equipment. Knowledge of software such as Solidworks, Inventor, AutoCAD, Siemens NX, Catia V5/V6, CREO, Pro/E, E3D, PDMS, Vertex G4, CADMATIC, MicroStation, Aveva, Draftsight, AutoCAD 3D Plant. Experience with product data management/PLM tools such as Teamcenter, Customworks/Custom tools, Windchill, Aton, Vertex Flow, Sovelia.
