As a teacher in early childhood education you are a team leader, pedagogical leader and community builder. Your tasks include leading the team and organizing everyday operations so that activities support children's learning, development and well-being in line with the early childhood education act; building learning environments with your team where curiosity and joy are visible in every corner; planning activities so that every child can be met and heard as their true self; creating everyday routines that support the development of emotional skills, interaction and collaboration, and initiating preventive support measures quickly; developing pedagogy with colleagues to strengthen a supportive atmosphere and evolving work culture; actively collaborating with guardians, multi-professional networks and local actors in a genuine partnership spirit. What we expect from you: qualification for the position of a preschool teacher and fluent Finnish language skills; if a qualified preschool teacher cannot be found, we will fill the position with a temporary preschool social worker; ability to lead and inspire the team and harness its diverse strengths; desire to make early childhood education inspiring and heartfelt; pedagogical courage, proactive development mindset and ability to think outside the box; ability to meet each child genuinely and see potential in every child; working with children requires a criminal background check (504/2002).
