Lapin wellbeing region is seeking a department chief physician for the Department of Physical Medicine at Lapin Central Hospital in Rovaniemi on a permanent civil service basis. We belong to the responsibility area of Sotecenter Services, the rehabilitation unit. Our multidisciplinary team includes a physician specialized in physical medicine, a resident physician and physiotherapists, and we cooperate with occupational therapists, social workers, psychologists and rehabilitation supervisors. The eligibility requirement is the right to practice medicine as a licensed physician under the Health Care Professionals Act (559/1994) §4 and a suitable specialist physician qualification. Salary and terms of service are determined by the Medical Agreement. A 6-month probationary period applies to the position. Proficiency in spoken and written Finnish is required.
