Service Manager

Would you like to join us in delivering and developing our renewing ICT services? We are looking for a service manager to lead our Local and Device Support services in South and North Karelia. You will be responsible for a two-team, about 30 experts organization and services that support our customers’ daily work across four regions. The teams are responsible for providing on-site support as well as performing end-user device installations, deliveries and deployments for customers in South Karelia, North Karelia, South Savo and Päijät-Häme. The professionals in the teams assist customers’ employees with on-site problem solving at customer sites and ensure the lifecycle management of devices runs smoothly. The Local and Device Support teams are a key part of Meita’s roughly 200 ICT professionals, and they collaborate closely with each other and with other Meita expert teams on a daily basis. As the service manager you will act as the supervisor for two expert teams, about 30 employees. Under your supervision, with the support of team leaders, you ensure that Meita’s services and the customer experience we deliver meet our customers’ changing needs. In addition to leading and developing your own area, you will participate in Meita’s development and, for example, take part in the deployment of new technical solutions such as AI. Your diverse duties include also monitoring service levels, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and active customer collaboration. Financial monitoring, budgeting, reporting and forecasting are also part of your work. As a service manager you are part of the leadership team, supported by more than 40 colleagues. Your teams’ customers span Meita’s entire operation area in North and South Karelia, South Savo and Päijät-Häme. Most of your team members work mainly in Joensuu or Lappeenranta, one of which will be your preferred workplace. You will mostly work closely with your teams from Meita’s offices in Joensuu or Lappeenranta or at customer sites, but your work also includes planning and meeting days with opportunities for remote work using modern remote-working solutions. The position is permanent. We expect from applicants: - Experience / strong motivation for people leadership - Excellent collaboration skills - Understanding of modern IT service management processes and experience in their practical implementation - Ability to adapt to different situations and work independently - At least three years of applicable work experience - Experience in leading service production and processes - A suitable university degree - Desire to continuously develop yourself and your area of responsibility - ITIL certification and/or strong experience in service management - Fluent written and spoken Finnish
