Responsibilities
- Monitor customer activity through online and offline monitoring, including alerts, transactions, customer profiles, and other risk-relevant information.
- Perform customer due diligence, including ongoing and enhanced reviews, strengthened checks for higher-risk customers, and support compliant onboarding and monitoring processes.
- Analyze customer profiles and transactional behavior to identify unusual activity or potential risks related to fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions.
- Review PEP, sanctions, and adverse media screening results, assess potential matches, and document conclusions in a clear and structured way.
- Investigate system-generated alerts and ensure timely follow-up, escalation, and resolution.
- Prepare clear summaries of investigations, customer activity, and identified risks for further decision-making.
- Assess customer data, behavioral changes, and transactional activity to identify risk indicators and support appropriate risk mitigation measures.
- Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to collect required information and documentation in a professional and customer-focused manner.
- Work closely with colleagues across the organization to investigate flagged cases, share insights, and strengthen prevention controls.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of transaction monitoring, fraud prevention, and customer due diligence processes, policies, and supporting tools.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 1–2 years of experience in KYC, AML, CFT, transaction monitoring, fraud prevention, or a similar area within a financial institution.
- Good understanding of financial crime, fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, and sanctions risk typologies.
- Ability to analyze information, identify patterns, notice risk indicators, and make well-reasoned conclusions.
- Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, problem-solving skills, and confidence to work independently.
- Attention to detail, high ethical standards, responsibility, and a proactive approach to work.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
