Field Installer

Would you like to learn a specialist skill that is in constant demand? Kone Jare Oy is looking for a field installer to fit accessories to earthmoving machinery. Kone Jare Oy has specialised in installing and maintaining heavy-equipment accessories for more than 20 years. As we grow, we are looking for a new team member. Previous experience in similar work is not essential, as we will train you for the role. You will install various systems and accessories on earthmoving machinery at customer sites. Your days consist of practical work, problem-solving and working independently. The sites vary, so no two workdays are exactly the same. JOB DUTIES As a field installer, you will work at customer worksites mainly in the Helsinki metropolitan area, but occasionally elsewhere in Finland. Your base is in Vantaa. Your duties include: - Installing central lubrication systems - Installing heaters - Installing fire-suppression systems - Installing pressurised cab filters - Maintenance and warranty repairs - Working with customers at worksites - Reporting on work progress An installation assignment usually takes about one working day. You will start alongside an experienced installer, and after a few months of onboarding you will work independently at your own sites. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU You will do well in this role if you enjoy practical work and want to learn new things. Previous experience is not the most important thing to us; the right attitude is. We hope you have: - A category B driving licence - Fluent Finnish - Readiness to travel as part of the job - Flexibility with working hours - An initiative-taking and responsible approach to work - An interest in technology and machinery The work sometimes involves trips lasting several days and hotel accommodation. Working hours vary according to the season, but the aim is to work within a normal working week. CONSIDERED AN ADVANTAGE The following are useful in this role: - Education in automotive, machinery, electrical or automation fields - Basic electrical skills - An interest in vehicles or machinery in your free time Previous experience working with heavy equipment is not essential. We train all our installers in Kone Jare's ways of working and installation methods.
