We are seeking a Data Protection Specialist for Helsinki City’s Social, Health and Rescue Services to a permanent position. The unit is responsible for organizing high-quality social, health and rescue services for residents. In the unit, data protection is essential; registers, information systems and procedures require constant attention as the unit is continuously developing. In development work, data protection requirements must be taken into account so that the rights of data subjects can be effectively realized. Your duties will include: processing data breach notifications; coordinating breach cases and communication related to breaches within the unit and organization; investigating and preparing decisions on data breach liabilities; other data protection-related investigations and expert tasks; communication, drafting guidelines and training; customer service. Prior experience in a similar expert role is an advantage; knowledge of social, health and rescue sectors and prior experience in training is also an advantage. Recruitment considers suitability to the role and to the team. Salary is 4355.02 €/month; possible experience-based allowances according to HYVTES.
