Sheet Metal Welder

We are seeking a skilled sheet metal welder to strengthen our production team. The role involves producing, fitting and assembling steel structures and welded assemblies in a machine shop environment. Responsibilities include fabricating parts from technical drawings using MIG/MAG welding, manufacturing steel structures and components according to drawings, cutting, shearing, bending and finishing sheets, measuring and inspecting welded structures, and planning one’s own work and executing work steps independently. The role emphasises drawing comprehension, dimensional accuracy and high-quality welds. Tasks vary with production needs. We value versatile metalworking skills and a proactive mindset. Requirements include experience as a sheet metal welder, strong MIG/MAG welding skills, ability to read machine shop and welding drawings, good understanding of steel fabrication, meticulous and independent work attitude, commitment to safety and quality, willingness to learn and improve. Education in the field and valid welding qualifications are an asset, but competence and attitude are what count.
