About the role

The position is part of a department where self-adhesive materials (or semi-finished products thereof) are produced, processed, packed and shipped on rolls. You will be part of a team working in a combined 3- and 5-shift schedule to safely and efficiently realize production targets. The weekly average working hours are 37.33 hours in a 3-shift schedule and 33.6 hours in a 5-shift schedule. Both shift rosters consist of a morning, afternoon/evening and night shift. Main responsibilities: Operate, monitor and adjust machines according to on-site instructions in Alphen aan den Rijn. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and keep machines clean. Perform various quality checks and contribute to a correct handover at shift changes. Ensure loading and unloading of materials, products and storage according to standard work methods. Daily maintenance of the machines and contribute to solving non-routine problems. Job requirements: Diploma operator A/B or technical MBO 3 is a plus. 1-3 years experience in a similar position within a production environment. Good knowledge of the Dutch language is a must for a safe working environment. Willingness to work in a shift system with a flexible and driven attitude. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
